inFusion Upcoming Events for August

Things have slowed down a bit (for the time being, at least! September
is looking busy already!) and your one chance to see inFusion this
month is this week! We've been drawing inspiration from the festivals
and workshops we've been attending and are cooking up some new stuff,
so come and get a taste!

Thursday, August 17
Third Thursday at The Capitol Club
414 E Pine, Capitol Hill
8pm and 9pm shows in the upstairs lounge
21+, no cover

Remember, this show happens the Third Thursday of every month! The
seats always fill up, so arrive early to get a seat. Grab a Casbah
(inFusion's favorite drink!) and some incredibly delicious food, sit
back and enjoy two unique, energetic shows. Every month is a different
lineup of talented inFusionistas and exciting world beat music.

Don't forget to tell them you came to see the bellydancers!

    I still can't wait to get down there and see you guys dancing! My friends and I have already discussed coming down to watch you ladies.

    A shame I never got to meet you at TQNW, Renee. We did UG's class together. And Kym told me she was beside me too. Sheesh! OK, being short I notice the tall girls! Sowwy Kym : ( Also didn't see you at the after party where I got to see how truly strange your troupemates were.

    Made me love Sharon and Gen even more! LOL. And now add Kym to the lineup. Good luck with the new stuff and have fun! I'm sure it's going to be a hell of a show.

      Oh, I'm sorry, too! There's always such a swirl of people that I never get a chance to talk to/meet everyone I want to!

      Let us know when you guys decide to come down! We're hosting a hafla next month...

      You guys should totally try to make it to a Capitol Club! Of course the hafla will be fun next month, so that is an option, but Capitol Club is the best! Not only does the restaurant rock, and the food and drinks just to die for, but you get to see us up close and personal, in our "living room"--where we are most comfortable!

      Maybe you could swing a long weekend in September. Thursday the 21st is our Capitol Club gig, then that Saturday the 23rd is Hafla Durga!

        Yeah!! Kym was telling me about the Hafla and wow wow wow, something to think about! The only problem for anything before Dec is my son plays football so Thurs is practice and then weekend games. Same with Steph and her son.

        Are you guys at the Capitol all year? And I think Kym said you do a hafla a couple of times a year, right? If we could plan it this way that would be awesome. But you know you guys are close enough that if we couldn't swing it that everyone could stay that long, we can make day trips!

        Make sure someone tapes it and YouTube tomorrow!! Woo hoo!!

        And dammit Sharon, I want my shirt!!! Who do I have kick ass on to get it faster? Send me his way...there's gonna be some knees hurting soon!!
