Bellydance Technique and Conditioning Classes with Renée Drellishak

Weekly, ongoing classes based on the Suhaila Salimpour bellydance format provide a great workout in a fun and challenging atmosphere. Classes include muscle conditioning, technique breakdowns, drills, and finger cymbal technique and will focus on a new movement and cymbal pattern each week. Students may drop in at any point in the session. These classes are suitable for dancers of all levels of experience (or no experience at all!) and all styles of belly dance. Come have fun, work out, and enhance your dance!

Dates: Thursdays, September 6 through December 20. No class on October 25, November 1, November 22 or November 29.

Time: Combined Level I/II class 8-9:30 pm

Cost: $15 Drop-In, $75 6-class card

What to bring: a towel, a water bottle, and finger cymbals. A light hip scarf is optional (no beads or coins) as is a yoga/exercise mat. Dress to sweat. No skirts or voluminous pantaloons, please.

Renée Drellishak is a Level II certified dancer in the Suhaila Salimpour format. She has been studying belly dance since 1994, and has been a student and member of the Suhaila Salimpour School of Dance since 2001. Renée is Co-director of inFusion Tribal Belly Dance and is a certified graduate of Gypsy Caravan's Teacher Training program for Beginning Level I and II.
