Hi Genevieve. I was looking forward to meeting you too. The whole weekend as we were accounting for teacher stuff (like show music, meals, airport rides, etc) I kept worrying that I was forgetting someone or something and then I remembered that you two weren't here.... and it made me sad. ;-( We stayed as dry as we could. The hotel had an issue with rain backup and there was water all over the floor of the bathrooms, one of the vendor rooms, and a portion of the ballroom. Staff was all over it as soon as it started, but man, I felt bad for the hotel! Everyone took it in stride though and had a good time despite the weather issues.

I did the same thing...."I'd be dancing in the show with Sharon right now", "Oo, it's workshop time.." bummer to miss it all! I'm sure the weekend was stellar and hopefully you all stayed relatively dry! Next time....*sigh* ~G

Christina, I can't tell you how blue I was all weekend! I mean, I was glad to be home for my 10 year anniversary with hubby, but I kept thinking "Right now I would be teaching zills," and "Right now I would be getting read for the show with Gen," and such. I was bummed! I hope it all went swimmingly (ooh, a flooding joke!), and I look forward to seeing pics and hearing reviews. I hope we can make it happen 2010 or 2011!
